Why Do We Do It?
Firstly, because we love it! Canadian Native Art is our passion. It runs deep in our blood. Through years of working with native groups across Canada we have developed a broad and exciting collection. It ranges from sculptural works, through fabrics, prints, pottery, paintings, masks and so much more.
Our thirty years of sales of Canadian Native Art have helped to continue and promote a positive economic base for many native people who are living off the land. Their carvings and prints provide necessary funds for communities where few other employment opportunities exist. Your purchase of native art supports a whole economic system, which has successfully grown out of a carving tradition. Maintaining such self-sufficiency for Canada's native people is both necessary and right.
Your interest and your purchases allow for a continued quest for positive cultural values in the relentlessly changing environment of the Canadian native people. At the same time, your carvings record for always the transformation of a people. These carvings and paintings are slices of history.
